Our health is more important than money!

Hey everyone! how's it going? Glad to be here. I am back from a little break because I wasn't feeling well, but now I feel good and I'm really grateful for that. If anyone's been sick recently or sick at all for a couple days you know it gets old really quick, but it's a good reminder to take care of our health and just be grateful. It's way more important than money. Health, money can't fix that. You can buy some medicine and maybe health insurance but we have no control over those things

Actively Managing Your Money

Today I want to talk about actively managing your money because that's really how we get ahead with our money. If we don't manage our money our money manages us. If you're not spending any active time with your money once a month looking at your finances reviewing them and coming up with a plan, that's why you're not getting ahead and that's why you're not saving money. That's the biggest lesson I've learned in my experience from reading so many books and trial and error in budgeting, and not budgeting. So if this is your routine you're doing something wrong. You get paid, you pay bills, you spend money, you get paid, you pay bills, you spend money… that's why you're not saving money. Since you're not doing any work with your money.

Manage your Money, Don't let it Manage you!

You're working to get this money and just spending it. There's this whole society set up just to take your money. Every business that's out there is waiting for your money and you're spending your money on all those things and they're happy to take it. So I want you to make a difference in your life and I want you to be able to start saving money and feeling good. So this is what you have to do. Once a month minimum you have to sit down for an hour and look at your finances what's going on, did I save money last month? No? why not? Look at your expenses, you have to start tracking your expenses and looking a categories.

Manage Your Money to improve an save more

This is the only way you can identify a problem and fix it. Just like everything else in life and nothing's going to change okay.  It starts by looking at your money and tracking it once a month. Look at your money go through all your categories and expenses see where your money is going okay and that will tell you what you need to know. The coolest thing I love about tracking your money and budgeting is that the numbers don't lie! It's so easy if you make $100 and you spend $100 you have zero! that's it 0! you want more at the end of the month you have to make more or spend less that's it aside from investing in long-term things it's really that simple. So once a month I want you to look at your expenses I want you to track the categories and see where you are going wrong.  I'll never forget the time I was looking at my budget and I realized I was spending like over $500 a month on just going out and having a good time and at the time. I was trying to save for a house and I was like this doesn't make sense!! Why am I spending so much money and you know what? I had to make a change, I had to stop going out and take a break and I had to stay in. And that's no big deal! Invite a friend over to watch a movie , have coffee, talk, buy a six-pack, buy a drink, and have it in the house.

If you are young it can be harder to Manage and Save your Money

You don't have to spend a lot of money. It's really hard when you're younger and you're single or you're trying to socialize more. The way you get out there as you go to bars and restaurants and it's more expensive I get it and I'm not going to argue with that I understand but if you want to save some money you have to make a change. It starts by looking at your money once a month to see how you're spending it.
